Visit to the State-Of-The-Art Warehouses and the modern offices in Mumbai were included in their visit. It was an opportunity to e-meet all heads of Business Units and shared services in India to discuss the business continuity plan and conduct trainings.

Rhenus India conducted a Virtual Training on Air Freight for all Business Units, as a part of its Cross Functional Training. The session covered basics of Air Freight, Key characteristics and also gave a glimpse of the Air & Ocean Business Unit in Rhenus India.

It was a huge sucess with over 250 attendees and the Q&A session which followed saw enthusiastic participation. With focus on more such key aspects of supply chain, Rhenus India will continue to organize cross fuctional trainings for all Business Units.

Rhenus India, recently completed a time-bound shipment for a composites company, delivering wind turbine moulds to Denmark. The team seamlessly arranged for transportation to the seaport where the export customs clearance were completed and shipped to Germany.

Together with Rhenus Germany, further operations commenced and floating cranes were arranged in order to ease the unloading at the port of Hamburg. A local transportation was planned for the final site delivery which marked the successful completion of the project movement.

Rhenus India welcomed International delegates from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) to the Rhenus Warehouse in Bhiwandi, Mumbai. The students witnessed a phenomenal display of warehousing operations through the Warehouse Tour.

The engaging Q&A session which followed was an opportunity for the teams to interact, discuss and understand the logistics industry in India. This visit also opened the floor for cultural exchange and strengthened the relations with the delegates.
