5:03am at Gatwick. Been up for 3 hours already and have one heck of a journey ahead, but I’m en route to the Sahara Desert! So many emotions going into this Trek for Weldmar Hospicecare 💜🥾🐫🇲🇦🫶🏻

Around 85,000 steps of pure joy 🥾 We had very diverse terrains, a variety of weather (including rain & an all-night sandstorm!), and unquantifiable amounts of laughter along the way. Total money raised by the group currently standing at £44k! Sahara Trek 2023 over and out 🫡 💜

First school trip abroad accompanied: 4 days in Berlin, 40 students and 4 teachers. All returned in one piece. 🙌🏼Such an enjoyable experience! Couldn’t have asked for a better teacher team, group of students or planned trip.

Dissertation hand in day. 20,003 words, nine months of Cambridge, and one incredible individual’s journey.

Sabbatical return KIT day 1 is possibly the closest I’ll ever get to celebrity status 😂 So many “MiSs YoU’rE bAcK?!”, loudly whispered “Omg, it’s Miss Searle!”, & straight-up “are you teaching me Friday?” The best: “I can’t wait for you to teach me again”🥹 I can’t wait either!
