Congratulations to Sílvia F. Henriques for being awarded one of the very competitive national researcher positions funded by the Portuguese Science Funding agency FCT. Great to see her move from microbiologist to #Drosophila #microbiome wrangler being rewarded.

Finally we are hosting summer and rotation students again. We had a fantastic Indian lunch this week to welcome our visitors and say goodbye to others. Great to have this diversity in the lab and to get to experience fresh and dynamic young minds.

One more epic beer hour ChampalimaudResearch hosted by the lab and the FiorLAB lab. Lucky to be able to have it outdoors in our amphitheater.
