Haotian did amazing work during his visit to my lab Rice Computer Science. He’s a special student with a background in both CS and Sports (as a former NCAA Division I student-athlete🏐) He introduced me to the AI for Sports area, and I’m excited to explore more with him moving forward!🏃♀️

Rice CS Associate Professor Todd Treangen joined Rice President Reginald DesRoches, colleagues and students for the inaugural Rice Day at the Texas Capitol. Todd J Treangen

We are very proud to announce Lydia Kavraki's election to the National Academy of Sciences. She now has the rare distinction of having been elected to all three national academies: National Academy of Engineering, @NationalAcademyofMed National Academy of Medicine & National Academy of Sciences. 👏👏👏 bit.ly/4k0gftq

Lydia is also the only Rice University faculty to be a member of all three national academies as well as the American Academy of Arts & Sciences — a quadruple threat. We are so proud of Lydia Kavraki's monumental accomplishment.
