Great to see talent from the West Midlands shining. I recently met Caitlin-Lee at Sandwell College, a trailblazing plastering student and the only woman on her course. Wishing her the very best of luck as she competes in the Go Construct SkillBuild regional qualifier

It was great to welcome Richard Parker, Mayor of the West Midlands, to view our General Logistics Vehicle (GLV) family of 4x4s at our production facility in Walsall. As a key local employer, our work in the West Midlands plays an important role in supporting national security.

Coventry is seeing big change. We’re knocking down the old and making way for the new - 1,575 homes, shops and public space right in the heart of the city. This is how we fix the housing crisis - by building homes people can afford.

It was good to visit the Midland Metropolitan Hospital and meet with senior colleagues. We have cutting-edge facilities, world-class care and NHS staff doing incredible work every day. I’m proud this is happening in the West Midlands and proud to back our incredible NHS.

Working around the clock to bring rail back to South Birmingham. A new footbridge was lifted into place at Kings Heath station this weekend - another major milestone for the Camp Hill Line. It won’t be long now until passenger services return for the first time in 80 years.
