Sigh "GPs wrote >1.2 million mental health plans ... but only 1/3 were reviewed, meaning patientsā progress was largely unmonitored by their GPs." No, GPs billed a 1/3 of their reviews using a MH Medicare number. The rest were billed with other numbers. insightplus.mja.com.au/2022/28/accessā¦

Iāve been watching this play out & Ian Hickie itās not ok. During the pandemic Australiaās GPs have been the absolute engine room of our health response, are woefully underpaid & are beyond exhausted. Theyāre our frontliners AND do the bulk of MH work. We must support them.
