I used to be a Monday long run disciple. But the last 4 years I have moved to a 10 day long run cycle and I like it so much better. There are less injuries and I can fit in another workout day. It also hasn’t seemed to affect anyone’s performances either.

We do something similar once a week all summer. We do usually about 15 to 20 seconds on each rep, and have it be about a 800 to 1 mile pace. As the season progresses, we make the sprints, faster and faster.

Independence Day is a reminder that America is not the project of any one person. The single most powerful word in our democracy is the word ā€˜We.’ ā€˜We The People.’ ā€˜We Shall Overcome.’ ā€˜Yes We Can.’ America is owned by no one. It belongs to all citizens. And at this moment in
