It is through some tears that I write this. Dr Robin McLeod, a legend of surgery, passed away today too soon. Dr McLeod was a pioneer in evidence based surgery. Her contribution to research, edu and clin care are peerless among 🇨🇦 surgeons and we are diminished by her loss.

I have a new nine-day-old grandson, named Lev. His sister Rosie, 2 1/2, today, put a toy telephone in his bassinet with him. My daughter, somewhat upset, explained to Rosie that she should not put anything in the bassinet. She responded, “but he just wanted to make a phone call.”
