Paths locally are suffering from encroachment of vegetation creeping onwards along the edges, reducing widths to footpath dimensions.. we have an idea to fix it but need an old plate compactor/whacker to make a prototype .. can anyone help?

Short sighted plans from Authorities in charge of historic assets are irreversible and prevalent. So much social good can come from historic infrastructure it should be “listed” by default.

We’ve spent most of this weekend mapping out the local trail network, our suggested improvements and some of Bolsover District Council’S strategic cycle infrastructure improvements to see if a node based network is achievable.... it is ! So exciting to see it take shape

We really can’t wait for the day it links seamlessly with Creswell Crags 🦣 and Clumber Park, National Trust to the East, the TPT to the west and we hope it meets a future Bolsover Greenway that runs all the way to Hardwick Hall and Stainsby Mill and the brilliant Pheonix Greenways network

The usage stats for the new Clowne Greenway are brilliant ! Great to see this new trail justifying the investment with an impressive uptake.

Great news… we’ve been pushing for the eastern end of the Greenway to be completed for some times. Now, let’s crack on with the western end connecting into Poolsbrook now that the spectre of HS2 has evaporated
