Citrus Connection is closely monitoring Hurricane Ian and is operating normal service Monday, Sept. 26. Monitor our social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, our Ridecitrus.com website and our MYStop Mobile App.

Effective Monday, Oct. 3, Citrus Connection will implement Route Enhancements to several Lakeland Routes. Four new routes will be added in Lakeland including two Downtown Circulators, the Coral Line and the Lemon Line. Please go to ridecitrus.com/?page_id=4988&… too see your route.

As Hurricane Ian moves toward the Polk County area, Citrus Connection will provide hurricane evacuation transportation to public shelters starting tomorrow at noon. Effective Tuesday Sept. 27, regular fixed route service will be starting later and ending earlier in the day.

As a result of the Hurricane Ian recovery efforts, effective Friday Sept. 30, regular fixed route service will resume on a limited schedule starting later and ending earlier in the day. Please see the amended schedule below.

Service returns Friday, Sept. 30 in a reduced capacity as many of our operators assist in hurricane recovery efforts.

Out of caution, Route 30 will not cross Hwy 27 on Cypress Gardens Blvd. It will turn right on 27 and left onto Chalet Suzanne Rd. and repeat on the return trip.

An incident at US 27 and Cypress Gardens Blvd. will force both Route 30 to miss the stops at Walmart and beyond for the remainder of the day. The bus will turn from Cypress Gardens Road right onto Cypress Gardens Blvd and to LEGOLAND where it will wait for proper departure time.

The Squeeze Downtown Lakeland Shuttle Service will not be in operation Friday evening, Sept. 30. Service will resume at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1

Starting today, citizens of Lake Wales will have access to more public transportation. Citrus Connection and the City are partnering to connect people to food distribution points and health services. Walmart, Publix and the Health Department are part of the route advancements.

Holiday Closure In observance of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 2, there will be no public transit service. Administrative offices and customer service locations will also be closed.

A bigger Squeeze for Downtown Lakeland The Downtown Lakeland Lunch Squeeze has expanded to include service to Café Zuppina, The Back Nine and Mojo Federal. The Lakeland Lunch Squeeze operates weekdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through a sponsorship with the LDDA.
