Our second speaker is the Revd Dr Stephen Goundrey-Smith on “Moral Enhancement:Virtue in a Bottle?”

Our third speaker is Dr Oliver Keenan, our Academic Dean, speaking on the topic of Prayer responding to the work of Simon Tugwell who compared the use of the word prayer with Humpty-Dumpty’s notion that “when I use a word it means whatever I decide it to mean.”

In our 2nd slot, Dr Eddie Howells speaks on “Why it matters whether Ignatius of Loyola's Spiritual Exercises are understood as a mystical text”

Our next speaker is Dr Becky Dean on “Can Horses See Visions?’ Perspectives from Renaissance Art” drawing on depictions of Paul’s conversion experience on the road to Damascus which add in horses despite none being mentioned in the narrative.

Our third speaker in this slot is Susannah Peppiatt speaking on “A language understanded of the people: The struggle to create a Welsh Anglicanism”
