Reflecting with NCERT's Dr. Satya Bhushan & UN Office on Drugs & Crime's Samarth Pathak, educators shared emerging student vulnerabilities--from peer pressure to online threats. The discussions focused on empowering young people to resist negative influences with a positive framework of action!

With hands-on activities & dialogues, participants explored solutions to real-world issues in mixed groups: mental health, gender divides & cybersecurity. The workshop called for greater integration of art, technology & research in classrooms for enhanced students' engagement.

Participants called for enhanced capacity building initiatives, in line with #NEP2020. “Ideating with students & hearing their views was really interesting,” said an educator. “I’m leaving this #RiseUp4Peace workshop with new perspectives. Such conversations must happen often.”

"I feel more empowered to talk about gender equality now & make a positive difference. Excited to take this further in my school," said one student. The #RiseUp4Peace educators community is committed to this idea: integrating peace, integrity & the rule of law in classrooms!
