The Ritenour School District is proud to welcome Dr. Phil Pusateri as the district’s new chief financial officer, effective July 1, 2024. Dr. Pusateri will replace Dwight Lindhorst, who is retiring from Ritenour on June 30, 2024 after more than 28 years in education.

Ritenour High School's JROTC cadets decorated more than 70 graves of veterans with holiday wreaths on Dec. 16 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. SFC (R) Tonia Jennings, the instructor for RHS cadets, also laid a wreath on the grave of her brother, who was a US Marine.

The Ritenour School District welcomes Dr. Rich Wilson as the incoming Director of Technology, effective July 1, 2024. Dr. Wilson will replace Dr. Fred Harlan, who is retiring on June 30 after leading transformative technology initiatives in Ritenour for 15 years.

We are excited to announce that Ritenour was selected to receive a grant for a fleet of electric school buses through the EPA's Clean School Bus Program! The grant, in addition to funds from Ritenour selling 24 buses, will cover the costs of the new fleet and infrastructure.

The Ritenour School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelsey Bodie as the principal of Wyland Elementary, effective July 1, 2024. She takes the helm of Wyland upon the retirement of Dr. Lisa Greenstein, who has led Wyland since 2015. Congratulations, Mrs. Bodie!

Tonight, we celebrated the grand opening of our newly renovated cafeteria at Ritenour HighSchool, thanks to community support of Prop S. The area exudes #HuskyPride, giving students the choice to sit in booths, at tables, on stools at countertops or on the mezzanine patio.

On May 9, the Ritenour Board of Education welcomed new student representative Alazaya Rhae Smith, RHS class of 2025. She will serve a one-year term. The board also thanked outgoing student representative Hope Both, who served in the role for the past year. Dr. Chris Kilbride

Ritenour continues to be at the forefront in the state of Missouri with the transition to Competency-Based Education. This week, Ritenour hosted the Competency-Based Learning Summit. More than 300 educators from throughout the nation met in Ritenour to learn more about CBE.
