Next week I have the honour of presenting my doctoral research at University of Aberdeen . I did my Bachelors there, they inspired me to pursue medical anthropology, and now I get to present to my Bachelor's professors. It's a real honour, and I'm really excited 🤓

I'm looking forward to reading this! Congratulations Dr. Emilija Zabiliūtė !

One of the many reasons I follow Visual Plague/ Global War Against the Rat is their endless energy to be a fantastic resource for new literature. Some anthropology is my profession, some anthropology is personal. I can't wait to read this. Thank you for highlighting!

In August 2024, I'm teaming up with author & advocate Morven-May MacCallum to speak about the Lyme disease epidemic at World Congress of Environmental History 2024, Oulu in Finland. I want to thank Lyme Resource Centre for their generous support that will make our trip possible. We can't wait to share our work with you all.

We are pleased to support a new & provocative collaboration: Lyme disease patient advocate Morven-May MacCallum & medical anthropologist Dr Dr Ritti Soncco They gave their presentation “Its Hand Around My Throat: A Performative Dialogue on the Lyme Disease Epidemic in Scotland” at World Congress of Environmental History 2024, Oulu

It was FANTASTIC to meet you Katie Kung @katiekung.bsky.social !! What a day!

I just finished reading this powerful and deeply affecting book by Dr Alexa Hagerty Beautifully written about terrifying history. I learnt so much. And wonderful to see anthropology breaking into mainstream bookshelves with such power and possibility. ¡Muchas gracias!

I invited Lyme advocate Morven-May MacCallum to present at World Congress of Environmental History 2024, Oulu on the importance of researchers and research participants working/presenting together. Let's invite our participants in, to represent themselves and hold us accountable. Thank you Lyme Resource Centre for supporting us!

What an incredible experiment. Morven-May MacCallum & I co-produced a performative dialogue for World Congress of Environmental History 2024, Oulu on the importance of inviting interlocutors into anthro spaces. Thank you @EmilyWebz for accepting our talk & Lyme Resource Centre for believing in us!
