Are neural responses to beat influenced by over-exposure to musical rhythm? We plan to find out. Check out our stage1 registered report Effects of Learning on Neural Representations of Rhythm and Beat osf.io/uz6ce/ Center for Open Science. Or see our poster at #TRF3! TimingResearchForum

My time at UniOslo_RITMO is almost coming to an end so had to commemorate it with a little cross stitch turned ornament

Work from my MacEwan University undergrad honours thesis is now out with Katie Corrigall! So nice to finally see it published :)

I just realized that I was so busy on Monday that I forgot to make a donation to Kamala Harris during the call, so... I'll join in on the trend: I will donate $.10 for every like on this tweet, $0.50 for every retweet, and $1 for every follow. (30,757 followers at the start)

Another successful (and active!) outreach activity for Canadian Association for Girls in Science (CAGIS) at the Centre for Brain and Mind (Western Centre for Brain and Mind). Thank you Sarah Park Riya Sidhu Marina Emerick and Caitlin Fitzpatrick!

A great event to host, all the girls were engaged, curious, and willing to dance with us! We learned how music can affect movement areas in the brain and how this can be beneficial (and fun) for people with Parkinsonās. Highly recommend hosting an event for Canadian Association for Girls in Science (CAGIS)! š©š»āš¬
