The technology changes across the NHS have left millions behind. With just about every GP visit or hospital outpatient appointment I come away thinking ‘yes, I can (just about) do that online, but what about those who cannot?’. It’s pretty shameful that we haven’t cared.

I have grown more strongly against assisted dying as I’ve seen the Bill and its flaws progress. It’s an easy position for those with supportive families and communities but having been a social worker for decades, I worry most about those with little support around them.
