Early start to Manchester today to visit Back on Track an organisation dedicated to providing community learning and holistic support for adults facing multiple disadvantages. Will be observing the support offered to individuals and engaging with local stakeholders.

Today is Social Mobility Day. Listen to our Commissioners Resham Kotecha, Rob Wilson & Ryan Henson discuss what they would do to #Shift Mindsets. What is one thing you would do to #ShiftMindsets on #SocialMobility?

Fascinating morning ā¦Back on Trackā© hearing about the challenges around social mobility for the most hard to reach groups ā¦Social Mobility Commissionā©

Terrific interview with Alun Francis, ā¦Social Mobility Commissionā© chair. Some honest straight-talking on some of the key issues facing our country if we want people to get on. feweek.co.uk/alun-francis-cā¦

Is the Greenshaw Learning Trust the right organisation to run this school? As well as what happens in the school, knowing and understanding the local community is essential to get buy-in. You canāt be successful if local people donāt support you. I would advise reversing this quickly.

Thank you to the 324 people who have already signed this petition. Please circulate all Reading FC fans!

Thank you to over 500 people who have signed my petition to reverse Greenshaw Learning Trust decision to remove the Madejski name from the school he funded and founded. Any school needs the trust & support of its local community, this is not the way to get it. chng.it/njz5kkpcQS

A very enjoyable dinner with Baroness Hilary Armstrong, chair of the Independent Commission on Neighbourhoods (ICON), and colleagues. Enlightening discussions on tackling entrenched disadvantage. ā¦Social Mobility Commissionā© .
