I understood being without power for four days last week -- hurricane-force winds, hundreds of thousands without power, lousy infrastructure, etc. I get all that. What I will never understand, Oncor, is what causes a sudden, lengthy outage on a clear, hot day in early June.

And, an answer has appeared on the Oncor website: "The outage in your area is due to vegetation impacting equipment." Title of my next prog-rock album.
