Wonderful to be back in Berlin at the DGPPN conference! It was a great honor to receive an award for our work on schizophrenia resilience mechanisms.

Our new paper providing the first evidence for a neurobiological correlate of schizophrenia resilience genes is out in Schizophrenia Bulletin: academic.oup.com/schizophreniab…

Using imaging genetics, we show that schizophrenia resilience genes are associated with increased fusiform gyrus volume. This might be protective against schizophrenia by enhancing the processing capacity of the ventral visual pathway.
