The Tidal Basin’s cherry blossoms get all the attention this time of year, but their roots run through Rock Creek. Join a ranger at Peirce Mill Barn on 3/23 and 3/30 at 10:30 am for a hike and a history lesson. More info: go.nps.gov/blossomwalk #RockCreekPark #CherryBlossom

On Saturday 4/26, from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, Beach Drive will be closed to all vehicles between Rock Creek Parkway and Porter St/Klingle Rd for hazard tree removal. The multi-use trail will be open. To stay up to date with park alerts or closures, visit go.nps.gov/ROCRalerts.
