As part of our ongoing commitment to creating a safe and secure learning environment, weapon detection scanners will be implemented at high schools for the 2025-26 school year. We are grateful to our voters who made this possible through the support of the 2023 Bond referendum.

What to Expect: • Students will walk through the scanners without stopping, handing any hand-carried items to staff. • If a scanner indicates the need for a closer look, a quick bag or item check will take place at a designated search area & students will be sent on their way.
