U.S. Highway 36 inside Rocky Mountain National Park is temporarily closed in both directions near Upper Beaver Meadows Road due to a bus blocking both lanes. Bear Lake Road is open and accessible from the Beaver Meadows Entrance.

Coming to the east side of Rocky today? Use U.S. Hwy 34 and Fall River Entrance to enter #RMNP. Road construction is happening outside the park on U.S.Hwy 36 near Beaver Meadows Entrance. Expect delays.

Alpine Visitor Center in #RMNP is open for the season! Located at an elevation of 11,796 feet above sea level, it is the highest elevation visitor center in the National Park Service. Weather permitting, Alpine Visitor Center is open 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily.
