With the “Godfather of Coconut Grove,” Monty Trainor! It was great to see him honored by having the street adjacent to Monty’s in the Grove officially named, “Monty Trainor Way!” Anyone who enjoys Coconut Grove today owes this wonderful man a tremendous debt of gratitude!

I just received this from a friend whose feed it appeared on. More than 30 yrs. ago! That is a white tiger cub named, “Indi,” not Carlita. She had several health issues and was rejected by her mom so I had the privilege of helping to raise her. Wish I still had that hair!

It was an emotionally draining few days in Los Angeles as we tried to pick up the pieces from the fires. The silver lining was having the family together and realizing how truly lucky we are to have each other. This is the most important part of my life in one image. 🙏🏻❤️

On Friday, Zoo Miami's two gorillas received exams in preparation for their departure to Brookfield Zoo Chicago.Though I am happy to see them going to such a well-respected facility, it is sad that for the first time in over 40 years, there will be no gorillas at Zoo Miami. 📷
