1000 new places will not fix the training bottlenecks. UK graduate prioritisation with protections for current IMGs is a start. But only if it applies now. Without any timeline, this is just lip service. Disappointing indeed. We expect Wes Streeting and his team to do better

This is outrageous Partha S Kar 🇮🇳🇬🇧🏏🎥 has done a tremendous job standing up against many who have attempted to sell out UK healthcare for their own benefit. Royal College of Physicians will need to have extremely strong justification for this move.







If doctors pay had kept up with inflation since 2008, would you be advocating for doctors pay to be cut by 21%? This wouldn’t even be a consideration Wes Streeting Doctors being paid £22.67/hr is not an unreasonable ask. This is still less than our assistants pay.
