Huge thanks to Rosslyn Chapel for being such fantastic hosts to our S3 IDL/Scottish Studies pupils today. A place of incredible history and beauty- right on our doorstep. Great inspiration for the creative response element of the course!

We've gone a bit fancy with today's #DoorToTheWeekend. Does anyone recognise this beautiful trefoil arch? Clue: The trefoil has been widely used for its symbolic significance in Christian architecture. The three overlapping rings can be read as a symbol of the Holy Trinity.

P4C were lucky to have a visit from Lady Sinclaire, Sir Gilbert Hay and Mistress Goodfellow this afternoon. P4 learned how to finger weave and scribe, to see if they had what it takes to become an apprentice!

P4C had an amazing day travelling back to medieval times at Rosslyn Chapel! We learned how the amazing stone carvings were created, some gruesome history about the chapel and even had a go at creating our own soap carvings!

I'm digging Rosslyn Chapel's #autism accessibility guide. Clear for preparing and planning, informs about triggers, and identifies exits and routes. And the sensory backpack is the cutest thing ever. 1/2 rosslynchapel.com/wp-content/upl…
