I had the pleasure to welcome the Danish Minister for Economic affairs Stephanie Lose in the margins of #ECOFIN meetings. We discussed 🇱🇺 🤝 🇩🇰 collaboration and the upcoming Danish presidency of the EU.

At the #Eurogroup and #ECOFIN meetings, here in Luxembourg, I had fruitful discussions with colleagues focused on strengthening resilience through enhanced competitiveness, digital transformation, and coordinated policy efforts.

Together with Director Thierry Flamand, I thanked the staff of the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA) for their commitment and effective supervision of our insurance industry. For a resilient financial centre. For our country and its citizens.

I had a good meeting with Peter Zaffino, CEO of AIG. It was an opportunity to discuss the macroeconomic outlook, strategic initiatives, and incentives for attracting and retaining talent.

Great meeting with David E Rutter, CEO of R3, in Luxembourg. We discussed the future of #financialservices, #DLT, and the importance of an open #EUSingleMarket. Shared our initiatives for #digitalfinance and support for a #digitaleuro.

🌎 Met with Patrick Gauthier, CEO of Convera, during his visit to their EU headquarters in #Luxembourg. They use Luxembourg as a base to manage global payments and FX risk under a dual license structure.

Good exchange with the team from Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. There is a strong overlap in our focus on #sustainability. I is good to see #Luxembourg continue to evolve as a well-regulated and globally connected financial centre.

Good meetings yesterday with Aki Nishio, VP at the World Bank and Alfonso Garcia Mora, VP at the International Finance Corporation. We took stock of our long-lasting partnership and convened to explore venues for a deeper collaboration between Luxembourg and the World Bank.
