Really interesting thread about online teaching/camera use, from the perspective of a Prof. I've just received funding to conduct research regarding the student perspective. Key foci: barriers to camera use and engagement + how to overcome them; inclusivity and online learning.

Deepfakes and other machine learning technologies are becoming readily accessible. They're very dangerous when unregulated, especially in the context of image-based abuse.
