If we lived on a spinning ball how quickly would Concorde flying level @ 55.000ft @ Mach 2 speed end up in outer space? Very quickly I'd imagine yet it didn't & couldn't as Earth is flat & passengers noticed the flat horizon & that is reason enough to decommission Concorde quick!
