Last weekend 3, yes three women’s rugby players had to be removed from a game and treated for injuries from hits sustained by a transwoman. The referee, after repeated dangerous tackles, had to remove the trans player from the game.

Riders come off horses, boxers get punched, skiers lose control, mountaineers fall off cliff faces, cyclists, racing drivers & motorcyclists crash-sometimes with fatal consequences.None of these sports seem to agonise about risk the way rugby seems to be doing currently. Why is that?

Let me just get this right. The Rugby Football Union is making grassroots players play children's tackle laws to mitigate the bad publicity from head injuries...... IN THE PRO GAME. Meanwhile Owen Farrell......... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great work Will Kelleher The real problem with the Farrell red card is how the Rugby Football Union systematically target people with "education" about not taking player wellfairlr seriously at grassroots. We just want to play the game we have always played.

What they mean is "World rugby must emerge from its corporate bubble of stakeholder management and delegated responsibility to bare it's teeth. ...... With more stakeholder management to satisfy outside interests and pressure groups like Progressive rugby."
