Let’s talk about the messy/ugly side of marriage. What did you struggle with in the first year of marriage & why was it so hard? Me??? Losing a fight & apologizing. It would take me hours to days. Longest was 7 days of silence. But Why 😔? Pride obviously & foolishness!

This is truly profound. And yes, often, we must be stripped ‘naked,’ our weaknesses exposed, our pride dismantled. Only then can we allow ourselves to be vulnerable….it’s in that breaking that freedom begins. It’s in that death that life comes forth. We must be willing to die!

You want a seat with Kings but still think & speak like a commoner 🤔 Loud. Reactive. Short-sighted. Empty. Kings? They speak in Wisdom, have Vision. Walk in Honor. Tebakulimba.Until you learn the language, no amount of proximity will give you access. (Prov 18:16 | Prov 22:29)

Salome listened to Herodias & asked for a man’s head. Hadassah listened to Mordecai & asked for a nation’s salvation. Two women. Same access. Different outcomes 😔. Woman, who are you listening to? And what are you asking of the King? All it takes is just one night. Be wise.

The first few years of marriage? They can break you, bend you, or build you. And sometimes 🤔...all three. Some couples survive, while others walk away. Many stay but quietly shut down. Set your reminder and let's talk about this candidly. No judgement! x.com/i/spaces/1vAxR…

3.5 hours to my conversation with Dr Ruth Senyonyi on surviving & thriving in the early years of marriage. Already taking questions in my DMs—but if it’s not too personal, drop yours here. Ps. It’s okay to also ask for a friend. 😉

“Conflict is a sign of intimacy,”Dr Ruth Senyonyi. My jaw dropped. Then she explained that no conflict could mean there’s not enough vulnerability. The deeper you go, the more likely you’ll disagree & that’s a sign of growth. 🎧Missed it? Catch the replay x.com/i/spaces/1vAxR…

Mary and Martha asked Jesus to come. He waited — and Lazarus died. He had healed strangers instantly. But this time… He delayed. Same Jesus. Same power. Different timeline. Greater miracle. What are you calling dead that Jesus is simply delaying for something greater🤔?

Abraham waited 25 years for the son God promised. Jacob worked 14 years to marry the woman he loved. Elizabeth carried John in old age to prepare the way. Different people. Same God. Different timelines. Same faithfulness. What are you rushing…that God is refining 😟?
