Great talk by Xavier Griffin at Fragility Fracture Network (FFN) on post-op mobilisation and what’s rally important for patients who have suffered hip fractures. Evidence is scant on the importance of getting out of bed early, but is there equipoise for a RCT? I don’t think so.

Findings from this very helpful paper presented by Jodie Adams #FFN2023. Further info here on what is meant by need for “patient stratification” after hip fracture - structured community options should be available that make use of group sessions and patient preferences.
