We have seen a rise in reports of sheep being attacked by dogs recently. It is a criminal offence to allow a dog to worrying livestock - this does not just mean chasing, harming or killing sheep but includes dogs getting into fields and causing distress to livestock.

Please see below a very important update. Compulsory housing coming into effect for all captive birds from midday tomorrow Monday 23rd of December 2024 to prevent the spread of Avian Flu for the whole of Norfolk and Suffolk.

This chap quickly realised this lunchtime that swanning around on A47 wasn't a good idea! Thankfully members of public kept him safe till we arrived. With their help and colleagues we managed to get him safely in the truck and returned to water just down the road.

Update from the case just before Christmas..

Three people were arrested and charged after reports of hare coursing in Tilney on Friday Afternoon. 5 dogs were also seized. orlo.uk/G83Sk

Last weekend was start of closed fishing seasons, meaning it is illegal to fish on our rivers until the 15th of June. PC Lovelock was out on patrol with EA Fishery Officers last weekend and we will continue to patrol hotspots in the coming weeks as part of OP Clampdown.
