A community meal with several other Cllrs for individuals staying in nearby hotels at Birch Community Centre in Rusholme. The event was organised by a no. of groups in the hope that this meal would help, in some small way, these individuals to feel welcomed in Manchester.

Managed to squeeze a #labourdoorstep session for Rusholme Labour in the afternoon. Good support for Manchester Labour 🐝, it was good to talk to residents on a bright sunny day and pick up pieces of casework.

Good meeting this morning with the Assistant High Commissioner, Mr Mohammad Jobayed Hosen, at BAHC Manchester Look forward to a successful relationship with Mr Hosen which will help the Bangladeshi community to thrive not only in Rusholme but Manchester & the city region.
