Three academic generations on our way to the Body Psych conference in sunny Durham today. Super special to spend the journey with Catherine Preston and Georgie Burton before our talks.

Soon I'm going to be recruiting an RA for a project Psychology @ YSJ looking at the intersections of gender, sexuality, (dis)ability and neurotype. It will be a mixed methods, coproduced approach. The post will be 1.5days/week for 10months. Advert on the way! Let me know if you have Qs.

Feeling incredibly proud of Georgie Burton who absolutely sailed through her upgrade Psychology @ YSJ yesterday. It is such a privilege to be her supervisor and get to see her grow as a thoughtful, empathetic, and reflexive researcher. I really lucked out with my first PhD student!

Today I'm feeling very grateful for those making space for the complexities of research. Spending time with Hannah White @ola_demk Dr Eva A Sprecher Hazel Marzetti Dr Eleanor Chatburn has been so restorative. Coffee with Brian Irvine talking about rebellious humility was the cherry on top.
