FOCUS Wales is a major international music and arts showcase festival, drawing an audience of over 20,000. Our team British Council Wales were there again this year, bringing delegates from Ukraine, Bangladesh, South Korea, Iceland and New Zealand. They also hosted a panel on ‘Global

We are super proud to have worked with Amgueddfa Cymru | Museum Wales to bring the 2024 UK Pavillion’s commission from La Biennale di Venezia to #Wales & welcome the amazing John Akomfrah for a special opening night. His critically-acclaimed work is a must see/hear & open now at the Museum until Sept.


Yesterday the Chairs of British Council & Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru | Arts Council of Wales signed a new MoU to outline our partnership priorities for the next three years to support Wales & the arts sector achieve its international ambitions. 🏴 🌎 This is a really positive step in our joint collaboration!
