UPDATE:  Our CEO Steven SABITI and Eng. Leonard Kassana, VP of our Council, represented IER at the high-level ICOLD conference in Chengdu, China. The participation was an opportunity for IER to strengthen networks with key partners for the success of our upcoming initiatives.

Consulting firms have raised real concerns: tough tender criteria, high bid bonds, corruption risks, delayed payments, and barriers for small/local firms. It’s time for change and a fairer system for all.1/2

Wrapping up: IER Chairman Eng. Gentil Kangaho has called on consulting firms to compile and submit their challenges for review. The board will study them and engage stakeholders for solutions. A step forward towards a fairer, more inclusive tendering system. 2/2
