Today, our community volunteers in Ngarama Sector Gatsibo District mobilized citizens in Ngarama market, to respect guidelines to help curb the spread of #COVID19 and the importance of paying health insurance (Mutuel de Sante) fees.

In Umucyo Women Space in Gishari Sector, and Dushyigikirane Women Space in Munyiginya Sector, Rwamagana District the briefing meetings focused on the role of opinion leaders in supporting youth, especially young girls to receive friendly #SRHR services in their community.


Briefing meetings and Quarterly meetings were also held in Twegerane Women Space in Gacaca Sector, and Icyerekezo Women Space in Rwaza Sector, Musanze District. Among the CHWs, NYC members, WSFs and GCs aslo in attendance, was Sector Executive Secretary, Habinshuti Anaclet.


While in Bugesera District the briefing meetings were held alongside quarterly stakeholders meetings, in women spaces in Nyamata and Ngeruka Sectors, and continue today in Nyarugenge Sector.


In Kayonza District, opinion leaders and Women Space Facilitators were convened at women spaces in Kabarondo and Rwinkwavu Sector for quarterly meetings, and discussions on conducting community dialogues on #SRHR issues.


Today, we held quarterly meetings with opinion leaders under our #Icyerekezo project in Kanama Sector Rubavu District, Nyarugenge Sector Bugesera District and Murama Sector Kayonza District with discussions focusing on girls and young women accessing friendly #SRHR services.


Last week, we organised a 3-day training attended by technical staff from Réseau des Femmes Rwanda, Save Generations Org and @infohaguruka on the Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) training module under the #Icyerekezo project, which aims for women and girls to access friendly #SRHR services.
