Been in Morocco last couple of weeks visiting the Bounaguis I’ve not seen for three years. Camped out in the Sahara the other night, what an experience. Just wish I had half the style of the tour guide.

Swear every day I look in the mirror there’s another grey hair on my head. Definitely not stress related, biggest stress in my life is what toppings to get on a pizza. Inevitable really but not even hit 30 yet man slow down.

God it’s good to be home. Seeing my wee best mate (the dog) and all the other absolute legends I’ve grown up with, priceless. Always nice to be able to speak in proper slang as well ha, bit of an effort speaking ‘properly’ all the time.

My colleague Ryan Bounagui has been looking at the case for and against universal basic income including the view from Finland. Well worth a read. itv.com/news/wales/202…

Safe to say the wee fella enjoyed himself yesterday. Nice of him to sit guard by the food as well. You never know when someone might steal your cocktail sausages.

Mad how much has happened in the first quarter of this century. 9/11, Iraq, Afghanistan, financial crash, Scottish Indy ref, Arab Spring, ISIS and that time of constant attacks across Europe, Brexit, Trump, a pandemic, Ukraine, the Queen. Need a cup of tea just thinking about it

Last day at ITV Wales tomorrow. Feeling rather emotional about it. Excited for what’s ahead but my god I’m going to miss the people I’ve spent so much time with over the past two years. Someone will definitely be chopping onions in the newsroom tomorrow. Guaranteed tears.

Going to try a dry February. ‘Try’ doing the heavy lifting but it’s doable. Quite like the idea of Can’t Remember December for my birthday this year as well. Next few weeks though it’s water and tea.

More tonight on ScotlandTonight from 8.30. We all want food prices to be low - thats human instinct, but surely not at to the detriment of the families who work so hard to provide it? Produced by Georgia Done with Ryan Bounagui and Scott Duffield

What a night and what a lively debate. Huge team effort to deliver that. Proud to have played a part in it. Blood pressure may be a little higher than usual.

Never thought I'd shoot a wee ULAY right outside my mum's house/building. Car crashed into it (thankfully no one hurt) after a police chase. Even had 5 mins to nip up and see the dog. Offered him a biscuit in return for an eyewitness clip. Told to go through pooch press office
