How many secrets are still hidden in Tutankhamun's tomb? 100 years after the discovery, the exhibition "#Tutankhamun, his tomb, and his treasures" in #Brussels provides an answer. Great exhibition: I admired "wonderful things" and felt Carter's enthusiasm. Recommended!!

Had a lot of fun in the first week of August! Hope it comes back next year! Helping students in Assyriology use digital tools is a great idea! It is what we also want to do in AssyrUGent 😃

Last weekend my sister, who has a cuneiform tattoo with my brother's name, was approached by someone from Iraq in an Irish pub in Copenhagen. He was so excited about the tattoo! It's amazing to spread the knowledge of West Asia's impressive cultural history!

Just published! Have you ever examined fiber impressions from a stylus inside the wedge of a cuneiform tablet? Our study shows how these impressions might serve as unique identifiers, similar to fingerprints, to link fragments written with the same stylus: doi.org/10.3280/oa-118…
