Initial results into crop topping at reduced rates of paraquat show the proposed half rate did not achieve adequate levels of brownout. While no alternative treatments were as effective as current full rate, a few treatments showed promising results. More: bit.ly/4bMqIpp

SAGIT funded dry seeding trial run at the MNHRZ Giles Corner site. Trial sown on the 16th April with 21.4mm rainfall on the 19th/20th April. Dramatic differences in establishment and vigour between the red and black soil types with some interesting treatment effects.
