ICYMI: The Shrewsbury Debate Team won first place at a recent debate competition at Knollwood School in Fair Haven! Two teams of seventh-graders competed and won second and third overall, with Lila Feldman winning best speaker overall and taking the Golden Gavel Award.

Our third- and fourth-grade Tigers learned all about healthy boundaries during an assembly with the group 180 Turning Lives Around, which helped students understand concepts rooted in confidence and respect. Thank you to School Counselor Ms. Mastricola for organizing the event!

Get a glimpse of recent construction projects and how they'll help our students use the building addition. Basketball hoops and a scoreboard are being installed, painting is being completed, and the exterior colored glass complements the historic character of our building!

Fourth-grade students re-enacted the Second Continental Congress as part of a Reader's Workshop study – an interactive unit where they applied their newly learned debating skills. Of course, the wigs and costumes made the lesson even more fun!
