Great meeting with H.E. Busingye Johnston, Rwandan High Commissioner. We discussed the ongoing ๐ฌ๐ง๐ท๐ผ partnership on girlsโ education and UK in Rwanda ๐ฌ๐ง๐ท๐ผ๐ง๐ฎ ๐ฌ๐งโs new ยฃ60m GIRL programme which will keep more girls and children with disabilities learning in #Rwanda.

Today, Minister of Education, Joseph Nsengimana, chaired a Basic Education Sub-Sector Working Group meeting. The meeting brought together REB and development partners involved in basic education to review progress and discuss strategies for promoting quality education.
In his closing remarks at the Basic Education Sub-Sector Working Group meeting, Minister Joseph Nsengimana emphasized the importance of aligned collaboration to maximize impact in the education sector.
1/3. We are pleased to introduce the Learning and Inclusion for Transformation (LIFT) Programme, funded by UK in Rwanda ๐ฌ๐ง๐ท๐ผ๐ง๐ฎ. #LIFT aims to improve foundational learning outcomes in English and mathematics for children in Rwandaโs public and government aided primary schools.
