Together with UNICEF Rwanda we are pleased to welcome Cambridge Education to the GIRL programme team! We look forward to working with Ministry of Education | Rwanda, Rwanda Basic Education Board and others to support teachers and school children over the coming 6 years.

What causes school dropout, and how can it be prevented? Last Friday we learnt from Rwandan 🇷🇼 organisations about how to best support vulnerable students at risk of dropping out. This will help shape our GIRL programme interventions.

Today, Minister of Education, Joseph Nsengimana, chaired a Basic Education Sub-Sector Working Group meeting. The meeting brought together REB and development partners involved in basic education to review progress and discuss strategies for promoting quality education.

In his closing remarks at the Basic Education Sub-Sector Working Group meeting, Minister Joseph Nsengimana emphasized the importance of aligned collaboration to maximize impact in the education sector.

1/3. We are pleased to introduce the Learning and Inclusion for Transformation (LIFT) Programme, funded by UK in Rwanda 🇬🇧🇷🇼🇧🇮. #LIFT aims to improve foundational learning outcomes in English and mathematics for children in Rwanda’s public and government aided primary schools.
