What is it with male student harassers being a thing these days? Yet another one. At least with this one I don't feel for my safety.

"We don’t have an anti-DEI movement in Canada that isĀ as explicit as in the United States, because Canadian DEI was always about maintaining the status quo and dominance over racialized communities and Indigenous Peoples." Important context laid out by Christopher S Taylor

Alex Rodriguez asked a question. Reggie Jackson answered it. (Shouts to the producer and rest of the desk for staying out of Reggie’s way and just letting him talk. I doubt they expected this answer. But it’s a great few minutes of television.)

If admin is unwilling to bargain in good faith and ensure equitable working conditions for faculty, and therefore supportive learning conditions for students, we will be forced to strike. We hope they come to the table in good faith, we prepare for the alternative.

Let me be very clear: KUCFA do NOT want to strike. But faculty working conditions are student learning conditions. Those conditions matter. We are seeking protections for academic freedom and to strengthen our programs so we can do the job that students expect.

"To write like this, to imagine the enslaved, the colonized, the conquered as human beings has always been a political act." Ta-Nehisi Coates - The Message Liberation is an individual and collective space for the actualization of humanity. To be seen and live as human.
