A man who watches a lot of rugby. Its not a bad way to make a living and I'm not complaining but the odd bottle of red, book, bet and Dylan CD rounds it all off

The FT is right. Gaza will be seen by history as the collapse of any remaining Western claims to moral authority. There is no recovering from that.

USA trades democracy for mob rule and a two-bit twit for a President. There's your risk with democracy. Fools vote for fools.

Bigger things happening in the world right now but Lions selection a decent distraction. Non stop reaction from our team The Times and The Sunday Times through the afternoon. I shall ponder the squad before penning my column The Times and The Sunday Times for Friday's paper...online later

Took a day off work in 1993 on day of selection announcement for Lions. Don't know whether relief or ecstasy dominated the rest of the day after hearing I'd made the cut. Congrats and commiserations to the class of 2025 The Times and The Sunday Times

Your early departure on 93 tour was one of the sadder days. Great company and the capacity to make me look good with your running lines.

Shame....no form and as for Lions `experience', SCW belief in past it World Champs, the selection of BOD over Jon Davies was an awful error for the 2013 1st test and AWJ was past it in 2021. What has OF done to suggest he has what the Lions need?
