Item 33 was a Resolution to approve and set the Salary of the Chair of the Shelby County Board of Commissioners for the 2025-2026 Term. Items 27 & 28 were a Resolution electing Commissioner [] as Chair and Vice Chair of the Shelby County Board of Commissioners.

Moving to our Consent Agenda. Items 9, 19, 22, 25 were pulled. (Each Item will be listed, with votes following later).

Item 9 is a Resolution receiving and filing the May 2025 Monthly Comprehensive Financial Update Reports entitled “Shelby County Government Monthly Commission Division Reports for the year ending June 30, 2025."

Item 19 is a Resolution aligning the Elections, Terms of Office, and Term Limits of the Shelby County Board of Education with the Shelby County Board of Commissioners pursuant to T.C.A. § 49-2-201.

Item 22 is a Resolution to rename the Youth and Family Resource Center the “A C Wharton Youth and Family Resource Center."

Item 25 is a Resolution approving the sale of Seventeen County-Owned Delinquent Tax Parcels, to identified purchasers at various prices collectively totaling $119,537.50 and authorizing the Shelby County Mayor to execute Quit Claim Deeds.

Item 20 was also pulled from the Consent Agenda. Item 20 is a Resolution approving the Election of Notaries Public for appointment and/or reappointment for Shelby County, Tennessee.

Item 19 was deferred to the August 11, 2025, Commission Meeting.

Item 9 passed with 9 votes. Item 20 passed with a 8-0-1 vote.

Item 22 passed with 11 votes.

Item 25 passed with 9 votes. We, again, move forward to the Regular Agenda. Item 26.

Item 26 passed with 10 votes.

Item 30 passed with 9 votes.

Item 31 passed with a 8-0-2 vote.

Item 32 is a Resolution to amend the FY 2026 General Operating Budget for the specific purpose of funding M365 licenses for County employees in the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office.

Item 32 passed with a 9-1-0 vote.
