SCHS were privileged to welcome Kᗩᖇᒪ ᑎOᐯᗩ 🕶, hip hop artist, performance poet & award-winning author, to the #SeniorSchool. Year 8s, together with students from Chestnut Grove School, were delighted to experience his engaging presentation, followed by a #CreativeWriting workshop.

It's #WorldWellbeingWeek & at SCHS the #wellbeing of our students & staff is paramount. To help support to our school community we provide staff & parents with access to Tooled Up Education, a digital platform with evidence based resources on #parenting, education & family life.

SCHS's annual #exhibition showcased a rich and diverse selection of #artworks and products crafted by students studying #Art and #DesignTechnology #GCSE and #ALevel courses. Congratulations to all the participating students for their outstanding achievements.

Earlier this week, the #MusicDepartment at SCHS presented a wonderful evening of musical delights, in celebration of the end of the school year. Congratulations to all participating students and thank you to our dedicated Music Department for staging such an wonderful event!

16 SCHS pupils competed in a #NationalCompetition for the very first time at the English Schools #Gymnastics Novice Competition. The U14 team clinched first place, the U11 Team secured 2nd place & the U10 and U9 teams both came fifth. Congratulations to all who took part.

Incoming Year 7s & their parents spent the morning at SCHS familiarising themselves with their #NewSchool. Pupils came dressed in House colours & met their Heads of House & Head of Year before touring the school & taking part in form activities with Year 8s.
