Yesterday, we hosted the Neurogenic Bowel Care Campaign SIA Roundtable. There were more than 30 representatives from the NHS, MPs and the spinal cord injury sector. The meeting was extremely positive with important discussion points and tangible outcomes #SeriousSh1t Hudgell Solicitors

This is an important first step. However, we know there is much more to be done for women with disabilities who are at risk of breast cancer. Read our latest campaigning update and view the updated guidance here: spinal.co.uk/day-out-in-wes… #InternationalWomensDay #IWD #IWD24

To celebrate #IWD, some of our wonderful staff and volunteers got together for an informal group discussion this week. A great discussion covering everything from female inspirations, to continual barriers, to raising future generations that challenge barriers and stereotypes.

If you haven't done so already, make sure you check out the latest blog from our campaigns team. The agenda included a parliamentary roundtable discussing action to improve bowel care in healthcare settings for the #SCI community. Read the blog here: spinal.co.uk/day-out-in-wes…

My dad is disabled from spinal injury 2 yrs ago. So many aspects of his care at a local general hospital fell short, inc. lack of knowledge of how to handle his bowel and bladder function. This should be in place at every NHS trust. Please sign. #SeriousSh1t Spinal Injuries Association

With just over 3000 signatures to go, we can do this! Share with you friends, family and wider contacts. This is such an important issue that could affect anyone in life but especially affects those who right now have a paralysed bowel.
