Congratulations, Mrs. Allison Ward! Allison has served faithfully as our bus coordinator. Her attention to safety & detail earned awards & accolades for SCS. Allison, thank you for the countless trips, filling up tank after tank, and keeping everyone safe on the road!

Congratulations, Mrs. Jones! After 30 years, Laurel is retiring from SCS. Laurel has done so many important jobs throughout the years. She supported every staff member in some way. Her commitment to detail and a job well done is truly appreciated! Enjoy your retirement, Laurel.

Congratulations, Mrs. Leann Bigos! This week, Leann closed the books on her time at SCS. After 25 years, she is retiring to enjoy a change of pace and grandparent life. Her work in the finance office is appreciated by the entire community. She will be missed! Congrats, Leann!

What can you learn from a pile of marshmallows and a pile of toothpicks? Polyhedra! 4th-grade math students created the polyhedra using these fun supplies.

2nd-grade celebrated the end of the year with a visit to Kensington Metropark. They got to fish and explore the entire day!

3rd grade presented a readers theater of King Midas to the other elementary classes. It was fun to see students encourage their friends they pass in the hallways.

This spring, first-grade classes invited their parents and guardians to a Chick Fair. They presented the information they learned to their guests through skits, games, and artwork. Thank you, Mrs. Villareal and Mrs. Bricker, for this creative experience!

Are you planning a summer vacation? Ask a 3rd grade student what state they researched for their Tour of the USA. You might find some inspiration!

Our students shine in the classroom and around the world. Over spring break, one of our fourth-grade students went on a mission trip to distribute water filters in Colombia and share the gospel. He showed the class how the filter works & drank the water that he cleaned!

Our elementary and MS chess teams have had incredible success since it's start. We love celebrating them!

Of course, chapel is fun. Mr. Baughman and Mr. Featherstone really enjoyed this illustration with chocolate milk. Like the chocolate milk, it is our prayer that our students and staff overflow with hope!
