BREAKING: the National Labor Relations Board just held the ballot count for the Starbucks in Scottsboro, AL. This as the group Scottsboro Alabama Starbucks Workers United is trying to form a union. RESULTS: 8 yes, 8 no, 4 challenged ballots. (Cont’d in thread)

The NLRB says the number of challenged ballots could determine the vote, so the Regional Director will now decide if the challenged ballots should be opened. So a final decision on if a union will be formed has not yet been determined. News 19

BIG NEWS: A Federal Judge in Michigan just ordered Starbucks to STOP firing union leaders. The judge issued a national cease-and-desist order against Starbucks to prevent the company from firing workers in retaliation for their union activity.
