Let me tell you how this House Settlement will play out. “Lawsuits and cheating. That’s where we’re headed.” “You cannot cap the SEC.” Eye On College Basketball Podcast CBS Sports College Basketball 🏀

Josh Pate As a diehard Georgia fan, I can say with full honesty — they don’t. Last year I watched UGA lose to Ole Miss. Their fans stormed the field, and I didn’t feel that pit in my stomach I would’ve felt 5–10 years ago. Why? Because with a 12-team playoff, we all knew it didn’t really

Josh Pate To be honest, no they don’t feel the same. When a team can lose to their 7-5 rival at home for their second loss of the season, finish 4th in their conference, and it really didn’t impact anything for their main goal, that didn’t feel nearly the same as a Saturday in 2016. It’s

loss of interest in recruiting and Signing Day is a way bigger issue than any CFB powerbrokers understand MASSIVE connective tissue loss between fans and product Fortunately there’s a way to get it back if rev share is handled properly

This guidance on NIL rules is going to result in much gnashing of teeth, but it's pretty logical/straightforward: - NIL endorsements must be for genuine, profit-making businesses - Events that exist solely as an excuse to raise money for paying players isn't a genuine profit

I cannot stress this enough: when a team wins a national championship after losing to their rival in the regular season... The fans cease caring about losing to said rival whose fans sat at home and watched as the team they beat brought home a title.
